Whisky Distilleries
The Highlands are by far the largest whisky producing area of Scotland. Over one hundred distilleries are spread in small scatterings from the Orkney Islands to the Isle of Skye, or in the dense concentration of the Speyside. The variety of tastes are as diverse as the locales where Highland single malt whisky is manufactured. http://www.maltwhiskey.com/html/highlands.htm
